This month I’ve been making assets for the finished game. I have been working in a pretty scattered way, though, so please forgive me for making this month's dev log a bit sparse.

I haven’t finished the in game UI yet, but I like these colors.

Finishing this game will take more than just one more month. Maybe I can do it within three more months, but the most important part for me is that it will be done this year.
I’ve been beating myself up a bit about not “just having made the final assets” earlier, but I think that it is easy to underestimate how much time writing a story and coming up with a world actually takes. It is really hard to account for.
And since I’m just walking in circles and talking to the people I have to talk to in relation to being registered sick, the clock isn’t really ticking for me in the same way as those indie devs who have families and houses that they have to finance (I’m not really expecting to make money off this really). It turns out that not having too much makes things feel a lot easier sometimes.
